My Sisters Keeper

The book is about a girl who has leukemia. This girl has a younger sister who has given her countless transfusions, and undergone many surgeries so that her sister will be able to battle the leukemia. This sister is Anna. She will make an unthinkable decision that would most likely cost her sister's life. The author of this book is Jodi Picoult. She is the author of sixteen novels, including the book Change of Heart, and Nineteen Minutes. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband and three children.

My Name

Why I have the name John Charles. There isn’t a whole lot that goes with my name. When I was born my parents hadn’t quiet made up their mind about what name they would give me. My dad came up with the idea that he would name me after My Great Uncle Jack. His name isn’t really Jack, its John Charles Collopy. He agreed to that but he said he didn’t want me called by John. He suggested that I go by my initials, JC.  I stuck to the point that I now introduce myself as J.C. not John.

The Clayton is an old Quaker family that came to America with William Penn in 1682. They were from Middlewich, in Cheshire County, England. The first to come were James and Jane Clayton and their six children. The Clayton Family was given lands by Duke William for their distinguished help at the battle of Hastings 1066 AD. Because of the hard times in England many left for North America. Some records show that a good amount of people who moved to North America bore the name Clayton. There are many people in the Clayton family that have had some importance. Some are Harold Clayton: American Chemist; Nobel prize winner for discovery of heavy hydrogen. Adam Charles Clayton: plays bass in the band U2. Richard Clayton: English Royal Navy admiral.  The family motto is Probitatum quam divitias, this is translated to Probity rather than riches.

Am I someone's keeper

I don't really think of my self as somebody's keeper. But it anyone its my friend Zach. We have been best friends since we were in 7th grade. I always look out for him and try to keep him out of trouble. But he is also my keeper, he'll do the same for me any day. We're always doing something stupid, but we do it together.
